Construction Voice Makes A Statement

It seems a while since we gathered in business circles to discuss property development and construction but Construction Voice met last week and did just that.

Hosted by Brighton Chamber alongside co-founders RLF, Haydon Consulting, Lewis & Co planning and Graves Jenkins, We met at Malmaison Hotel in Brighton Marina and debated 'What solutions can the property sector help Local Government?'

Guest speaker was the impressive Geoff Raw, Chief Executive of Brighton & Hove City Council who offered some serious facts and figures about the challenges that lie ahead for the Council and the City itself. But not everything was bad news as the City is bracing itself for a property boom both commercially and residentially with new homes being built in many new locations and replacing some old stock property, plus a positive economic impact with new employment being created in the form of new offices and workplaces - long may it continue.

"The pandemic has forced change at a quicker pace and if we can get it right, the City can thrive in the years to come and reinvent itself in a positive way," commented Phil Graves who attended the lunch.
